• Why are we moving?
To put it simply, we have outgrown our current space. We need more worship space and classroom space for our children. We want to make room for more individuals and families to hear the good news of Jesus and join God’s family and missions in Canada.
• When & Where are we moving?
Starting Sunday, June 30th, 2024, we will gather every Sunday and Wednesday just 17 km away (see map) from our current location at 950 Queensland Dr. SE, Calgary, AB. to 5811 46th Street Southeast, Calgary, Alberta.
• Will anything change?
Not too much. This facility is an upgrade in just about every way: Larger worship space, more rooms, and more open space for fellowship. In addition, there is the same amount, if not more, parking than we have now. It’s a win-win all around.
• What is exciting about this move?
We are excited about this move because it allows us to make more room for more people to hear and experience the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Will there be parking?
Yes! There are two parking lots: a smaller one on the left side of the building entrance and a larger one just in front of the building. There is also plenty of free street parking.
• What can I do to help?
First, let us pray. This is not just an opportunity to get into a better space but also an opportunity to refine and improve all we do. This will be our temporary place until our church building is completed. As an active church, we are constantly learning and growing, and we want to get better at stewarding and shepherding the people God has brought to us and the people he will bring to us. We believe that volunteering is about giving your time and skills and being part of a community and a family. Joining one or more of our teams, be it kids, hospitality, worship, or setup, will be a huge blessing to us and a way for you to feel more connected and involved.
